✨ Payments in GiveGrove Just Got Easier!
Apple Pay, Google Pay, and ACH payments on the Charger are now live in GiveGrove! Your donors can give in the way that’s most comfortable for them—whether from their phone or their browser—making checkout faster and smoother than ever.
🔑 What’s New in GiveGrove
Updated Payment Methods
Our new payment system makes credit card checkout easier and more modern. Donors now see all the fields they need in one place, plus the option to pay with Google Pay. Just like before, they can set their preferred method as their default for future use.
This upgrade works across all modules: Ticketing, Voting, Silent Auction, Live Auction, Fund a Need, Donate Now, and the Charger.
Apple Pay (or should we say Apple Yay!)
Of the 77,000+ visits to GiveGrove this year, nearly 70% did so on a mobile device. Apple Pay makes it easier than ever for donors to give quickly and securely, reducing friction at checkout and helping you capture more support.
ACH Payments
We’ve added a preview of ACH (bank transfer) payments in the Charger tool—ideal for larger gifts. ACH fees are only 0.8% capped at $5 (compared to 2.9% + $0.30 for credit cards).
On a $2,500 donation, donors save about $50 in fees.
On a $10,000 donation, they save over $300.
This feature gives donors a secure, cost-effective alternative to credit cards, while host organizations still receive funds directly in Stripe. Because ACH takes a few days longer to settle, we’re rolling it out first in Charger, with plans to expand to Live Auction and beyond if feedback is positive.
