A Fresh Look and an Easier Experience on GiveGrove

We’ve been busy behind the scenes this spring , and we’re excited to share a round of updates that make using GiveGrove even smoother—for new users and seasoned fundraisers alike. Here’s what’s new:

A Smoother Navigation Experience

We’ve refreshed the GiveGrove interface to make things feel more intuitive:

  • Rounded buttons and sleeker toggles

  • Admin dashboard slides out instead of redirecting

  • “Big Boards” are now under the Tools menu

  • New Quick Menu lets you:

    • Create a new event

    • Access your Org dashboard

    • See which bank is linked (for account creators)

Silent Recording - Like the Old Times

New GiveGrove Features like rounded buttons, dynamic toggles, and rounded optional banners make event pages feel more friendly and inutitive for admins and donors.

We had heard from a lot of administrators that they didn’t know where to go to create a new event. Now, from every event on the platform, admins have a button to create a new event straight from their menu bar.

Smarter Organization Creation and Demo Events

One of our main priorities for 2025 is making onboarding easier for both new organizations and users. We recognized that the previous process to discover and test GiveGrove was too complicated. Users had to create a personal account, navigate to their profile page, add an organization, connect a bank account—just to explore the platform’s functionality!

We’ve completely reimagined that experience with a new onboarding flow. What used to require 28 fields and over 12 clicks has now been streamlined to just 8 fields and 8 clicks—a 71% reduction in friction. Our goal is to make it significantly easier for organizations to explore GiveGrove and determine if it's the right fit for them.

As part of this effort, we also introduced a new “demo mode.” This allows organizations to access all admin and donor-facing features—like adding items, customizing event pages with banners, logos, and colors, and navigating the admin dashboard—without needing to connect a bank account. It’s completely free, with no obligation.
