At GiveGrove, we're committed to continually enhancing our platform to provide organizations with a seamless and efficient experience. We've been hard at work implementing key updates that improve performance, enhance usability, and introduce new features. Here’s what’s new!

Enhanced Onboarding Experience

New organizations now receive an automated welcome email upon signing up. This email includes links to schedule a meeting, access onboarding documents, and watch helpful videos to get started quickly and efficiently.

Improved Financial Management

Organizations can now view which bank account they have on file, add new bank accounts, and delete old ones as needed. For security reasons, this feature is only available to the “Creator” of each organization.

Text Blast is Now Defaulted to Enabled

Previously, organizations had to manually enable the Text Blast feature. Now, it is automatically enabled, allowing for seamless communication with attendees.

Streamlined Admin Dashboard

We’ve cleaned up the Admin Dashboard by consolidating all helper text into a single, organized helper text box. This creates a more user-friendly and efficient admin experience.

Sidebar and Profile Enhancements

We’ve improved navigation by replacing the gear icon with a dedicated profile tab on the sidebar, making it easier to locate. Additionally, your most recent event will now appear first on your sidebar for quick access.

Silent Auction Dashboard Summary Upgrade

Managing silent auctions just got easier! You can now view key metrics at the top of the Silent Auction Admin Page, including:

Total number of Silent Auction items created
Total bids placed
Running bid total
Total number of bids

We added the ability to see how your auction is doing in real time with the number of bidders, total number of bids and more!

Enhanced Search Capabilities for Ticketing Attendees

We’ve added a search bar to the Admin Ticketing Attendees Table, allowing users to quickly find specific ticket orders and attendee information.

Simplified Sign-Up Process

New users can now bypass adding a credit card when creating an account. This change removes friction for those who want to explore GiveGrove before committing.

The ability to skip payment was one of our largest requested features as it was jarring for new organizations trying to just learn more about GiveGrove.

Updated Admin Invite Email

We’ve revamped our admin invitation emails to be clearer and more welcoming. The new emails now specify which organization is extending the invitation and provide clear contact information for any questions.

New Admin Access: Donate Now Module

Admins now have access to a dedicated Donate Now module, where they can view all donation transactions and issue refunds when necessary.

Live Auction Improvements: Bidder Sorting

Admins can now sort the Bidders list by name in addition to the bidder number, making it easier to manage live auctions efficiently.

Performance Upgrade: Vue 3 Migration

GiveGrove has been upgraded from Vue 2 to Vue 3! This transition makes the platform faster and paves the way for future improvements, ensuring better reliability and a more responsive user experience.

Bug Fixes and System Improvements

We’ve tackled several bugs and made refinements to improve platform functionality, including:

Fixed the Share Item button for Ticketing
Updated Market Value helper text for accuracy
Removed the Payout Tab on the Organization Dashboard
Fixed offline transaction errors for voting
Improved Ticket Packages language to distinguish between “packages” and “tickets” accurately
Enhanced GiveGrove Alerts for better customer support
